Singer Ingrid Andress was the target of criticism last night for her performance of the United States national anthem at the Home Run Derby, won by Teoscar Hernández of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The country singer-songwriter, four-time Grammy nominee, didn’t have the best night, as in the middle of her performance of “The Star Spangled Banner” she received screams and boos.

In the images you can even see baseball player Alec Bohm trying to keep his smile while Andress sings.

Hernández won the home run after defeating Bobby Witt Jr. of the Kansas City Royals in the final round.

Hernandez, 31, hit 49 home runs in three innings totaling 3.98 miles and became the first Dodgers player to win the derby. Kansas City has never had a winner.

Witt sent a ball to one of the deeper parts of the field in left center, when he needed to tie it with a single in left, when it hit the center of the wall.

Both finished their final two-minute outing with 11 home runs, before adding bonus swings. Witt failed to hit his first two bonus swings, then hit two straight home runs, a 457 footer that gave him one more swing.
