Here we tell you what the marches, rides and rallies which are planned for this July 13 in the Mexico City.

According to the report of the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC)for this Saturday there are planned some marches and rallies throughout the capital, which could affect traffic; below we tell you the points that could be affected by these.

Marches

Cuauhtémoc

  • Common Platform for Palestine Mexico at 4:00 p.m., will leave from the Angel of Independence to the Zócalo of Mexico City, to carry out the March “It’s not a War, it’s Genocide!”, against the murder of one and a half million people in Palestine by the governments of the United States and Israel; as well as to demand an end to the bombings in Gaza, the repression of pro-Palestine people and the breaking of diplomatic relations with the State of Israel.

High Milpa

  • At 10:30 a.m., Diversidad Pride Milpa Alta will depart from the Esplanade of the Milpa Alta Mayor’s Office to a place yet to be determined, to hold the “First LGBT Pride March of Milpa Alta”, to demand an end to hate crimes based on sexual orientation, gender expression or identity; as well as in defense of sexual diversity in the district.

Motorcycle Rounds

Gustavo A. Madero

  • At 8:00 p.m., Los Primos Kikimontana will leave from Av. Central Carlos Hank González and Av. Francisco Morazán s/n., Col. Joyas de Aragón heading to a place to be determined, on the occasion of the Mega Ride.

Iztacalco

  • Bikers Mx Mexico City Chapter at 8:00 p.m. will leave from the Sports Palace to a place to be determined, to carry out the social ride.

Venustiano Carranza

  • Bikers Mx will depart from the Tlatoani Virtual Library at 9:00 p.m. to a place yet to be determined, on the occasion of the Mega Ride.

Concentrations

Gustavo A. Madero

  • The National Institute for Political Training of the National Regeneration Movement Party (MORENA) will meet at 10:30 a.m. in the “Juventino Rosas” Park to hold an informative meeting for residents on the “Reform of the Judicial Branch” in Cuautepec, which will be attended by the Federal Deputy for District 1 and the President of the Local Board of Conciliation and Arbitration (JLCA) of Mexico City.

Benito Juarez

  • At 9:00 a.m., Tribunas Mexicanas Unidas will meet at Gate “7” of the “Ciudad de los Deportes” Stadium to travel by bus to demonstrate at the Mexican Football Association Federation, against the fact that the owners of first division teams will close the promotion and relegation to protect their monopoly; as well as the veto to attend football games, above the right to free movement, and to demand respect for the fans.
  • Anti-bullfighting groups will gather at 12:00 noon at the Monumental Bullring to hold an “Anti-bullfighting Thunder” rally to demand the abolition of bullfighting in Mexico.

Cuauhtémoc

  • At 12:00 noon, Anti-Bullfighting Collectives and Organizations will meet at the Zócalo in Mexico City to collect signatures against bullfighting and to demand the abolition of shows with animals in Mexico City.
  • Democratic Schools Front February 25 (FEDEF-25) will gather at 1:00 p.m. at the “San Fernando” Book Bazaar, Guerrero and San Fernando s/n, to demand the presentation of the teacher and activist, belonging to the Democratic Schools Front February 25, who disappeared on June 20 in the municipal seat of Chimalhuacán, State of Mexico.
