Social media users have discovered an unofficial build of Windows 11, allegedly designed for government employees.

As reported by Day.Az with reference to Gazeta.ru, this was reported by the publication TechSpot, citing user X under the nickname Andy__Kirby.

He claims that this version, called Government Edition, was created by Microsoft for government organizations. However, experts at TechSpot have refuted this information, stating that there is no official “government” version of Windows.

This build differs from the regular version of Windows 11 in that it lacks many Microsoft applications, such as Microsoft Edge, Windows Security Suite, Camera, Media Player, Paint, and Clock. The size of the operating system distribution is also significantly smaller than the Windows 11 installation file.

Additionally, the build’s creators appear to have bypassed Microsoft’s strict computer health requirements so that it can run on older systems that don’t meet the official performance requirements.
