“A substantial agreement has been reached today (July 16th) between the three representative trade unions and ADP SA management.
“As a result of this agreement, the strike notice for July 17th has been lifted”, the management said.
The agreement was confirmed to the AFP by the general secretary of the CFDT group of the ADP.
Unions have called for a pause on Wednesday to press for major Olympic awards and staff recruitment.
They are now guaranteed a “standard bonus for all employees at ADP” and extras for those helping with Olympic delegations and their luggage, management said.
Along with the train stations of Paris, the Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports of ADP will be the main gateway to France for foreign visitors to the Olympics, as well as athletes and their equipment.
The company has spent €50 million upgrading its infrastructure and the French authorities are deploying additional resources to make the experience as smooth and safe as possible.

Charles de Gaulle is expecting a peak of 300,000 tourists passing through a day, well above the daily summer average of 200,000.
The fastest days are expected to come after the Olympic closing ceremony on August 11th when spectators, officials and most of the 10,000 athletes will go home.
Once at the terminals, regular travelers will find multilingual “welcome teams” offering advice on travel and purchasing tickets at train stations.
Police are also set to step up patrols against pickpockets.
