The artist Shakira will entertain the audience during the break in the final match between Colombia and Argentina in Miami on Sunday evening.
Usually a break lasts 15 minutes, but the organizers have made an exception before the final. To make room for Shakira’s performance, the break is extended by ten minutes. Lorenzo is not a fan of that.
– It should be like any other game. It should be 15 minutes, what is in the rulebook, he said at a press conference on Saturday.
Earlier in the championship, Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni was banned for one pool game because the team was late from the dressing room twice. Lorenzo therefore believes that extending the break in the final is a double standard thing.
– When we came out in the 16th minute of the break, we were allowed. Now it turns out that there will be six concerts, which leads to further delays.

The Colombian coach adds:
– It can affect the players’ body because the muscles can become cold.
Colombia won its only Copa America to date in 2001. Argentina is the reigning champion and is chasing its 16th title in the competition. It will be the largest number, one more than Uruguay.
