Comerciantes Unidos vs Cienciano: result for July 13, goals, summary and next date

Comerciantes Unidos had to overcome a drop of points as Cienciano battled from behind to secure a 2-1 win in their Clausura opener at the Estadio Municipal Germán Contreras Jara on Saturday thanks to a decisive goal from Carlos Garcés.

Garcés Cienciano put Cienciano ahead with his second goal of the game nine minutes before the break, when he headed the ball into the net following a corner kick. The forward shot low into the left corner after meeting Gonzalo Ritacco.

Sen opened the scoring for Comerciantes Unidos in the 20th minute, when he directed the ball into the net with a low header into the center of the goal after a set piece. The advantage did not last long, however, as Garcés, with a volley after a corner kick, leveled the contest five minutes later with the first of two goals. Ritacco provided the assist, one of the two he had. That sparked Cienciano and Garcés’ winning goal came 11 minutes later.
