Our Olympic football team continues its preparations for a friendly match against its Egyptian counterpart the day after tomorrow, Wednesday, in the French city of Anglet, in preparation for participating in the Paris Olympics.
Eighteen players participated in yesterday’s training, Sunday, for the first time since the start of the current Olympic camp, after the Air Force quintet, Ayman Hussein, Saad Natiq, Ibrahim Bayesh, Ali Jassim and Mustafa Saadoun, joined.
The technical staff of the Olympic team, led by coach Radhi Shenaishil, is working to enhance the factors of understanding and harmony among the players, in order to present the best technical performances during participation in the Olympics.
The national team delegation held an administrative, technical and awareness lecture for the Olympic players in the presence of the administrative director Abdul Jabbar Hashim and the coach Radhi Shenaishil, and all the players were present. Shenaishil touched on many tactical matters, the way of playing, the physical aspects and the special statistics during the camp period, and the friendly match against Egypt, which will be important, as it will precede the official matches in the Olympic Games against Ukraine, Argentina and Morocco.
