jpnn.com – The Mayor of Medan, Bobby Nasution, together with the General Chairperson of the XII Sisingamangaraja Youth Movement (AMS XII), Paulus Sinambela, watched the film Harta Tahta Boru Ni Raja together at the CGV Focal Point Cinema in Medan, Sunday (14/7) evening.
The nobar event was also attended by Acting Governor of North Sumatra Agus Fatoni, Director of BPODT Jimmy Panjaitan, Chief of Police Medan Kombes Teddy Jhon Sahala Marbun, Chief DPD AMS XII North Sumatra who is also the great-grandson of Sisingamangaraja XII Simson Sinambela, as well as GAMKI General Chief Sahat Sinurat.
On that occasion, Bobby expressed his appreciation for the works of the nation’s children presented through a film. Moreover, the visual work can be an effective means of conveying messages to many people.
“Don’t underestimate a film. Because, old things that we may have forgotten, can be presented again in the form of a film,” said Bobby as quoted from the AMS III press release, Monday (15/7).
“We both know that recently there was a true story that was made into a film and eventually went viral. That is one form of the power of film,” Bobby continued.
He also appreciated all parties involved in the production of the film Harta, Tahta and Boru Ni Raja. Moreover, the location chosen for its production shows the beauty of Lake Toba which is a priority tourist location in North Sumatra.
“For the film that we will watch, it has a super priority tourist location in North Sumatra. Therefore, we continue to support it. Because if we are not proud, do not support what is around us, how else will those out there appreciate and support us,” he said.
Kahiyang Ayu’s husband also advised producers and directors to involve the potential of human resources in North Sumatra in the production of a film, including the city of Medan.
