jpnn.comBANDUNG – Indonesian National Team player Dimas Drajad has officially joined Persib Bandung after seven years of defending Persikabo 1973 (formerly PS Tira).

The striker has been contracted for three years by Persib, and is expected to add firepower to the front line which is already dominated by the Brazilian duo, David da Silva and Ciro Alves.

Interim Sporting Director of PT Persib Bandung Bermartabat Adhitia Herawan said the recruitment of the player born on March 30, 1997 was based on the recommendation of coach Bojan Hodak to strengthen Persib’s attack line in Liga 1 2024/2025.

As is known, Persib will enter the new season with the status of defending champion.

“Welcome, Dimas Drajad. Congratulations on joining Persib,” said Adhit, Monday (15/7/2024).

Last season, Dimas performed brilliantly with Persikabo 1973. The 27-year-old player appeared in 25 matches, contributing 6 goals and 4 assists.

Overall, since joining Persikabo 1973 in 2018, Dimas has appeared in 101 matches with a collection of 28 goals.
