(Web Desk) Torrential rains have wreaked havoc in the Canadian city of Toronto, flooding has occurred in many areas of the city, most of the roads have started to look like ponds.
100 millimeters of rain fell in Toronto on Tuesday, breaking an 83-year-old record, Environment Canada said. Several railway stations were also flooded due to which the movement of trains had to be stopped for some time.
When it was not possible to move forward during the heavy rain, many people left their vehicles on the road and headed home. Some vehicles were swept away in the relay.
Torrential rains left millions without electricity. Thousands of people have been trapped in their homes. The city administration has issued a high alert under which people have been asked not to leave their homes unnecessarily.
Many of Toronto’s drainage systems are also under extraordinary pressure. More or less 1.6 lakh people are deprived of electricity in their homes due to malfunction in the power supply system, which has increased their problems.

Toronto’s Don Valley road is so flooded that cars are submerged. It also became very difficult for people to go out on foot. Many people are unable to even step outside their homes. They are facing difficulties in getting the necessities.
