Since last Monday, July 15, thousands of residents north of Mexico City have been affected due to the temporary closure of Cablebús Line 1This follows the prior announcement by the capital’s government and the Ministry of Mobility.
In the coming weeks, residents of the municipality Gustavo A. Madero and surrounding areas of the State of Mexico will be supported by units of the Passenger Transport Network (RTP)as well as by trucks of the city’s public transport system.
How long will the Cablebús be closed?
Through an information campaign, the Ministry of Mobility reported that Cablebús Line 1 will be closed from last July 15th until next Sunday July 28ththis as part of the third annual review of the systems of this transport.
This review aims to maintain the machinery that operates the cabins that transport thousands of passengers, check that the units have no damage, assess the pillars and towers, as well as other checks.

He Secretary of Mobility of Mexico City, Andres Lajousindicated through his X account that residents who travel from Indios Verdes to Cuautepec in both directions will not be left without transportation and that these inspections are to guarantee their safety.
RTP units will offer free support to all citizens who usually use this public air transport in their daily lives.
