BRESSANONE. Fixed annual meeting point: 22 winemakers from the Isarco Valley meet under the arcades of Bressanone for a presentation table. A unique opportunity to taste the northernmost wine region of Italy and talk to the producers.
Friday 26th July from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm the Bressanone Arcades will be dedicated to the wines of the Isarco Valley. The white wines of the 2023 and 2022 vintages are the heart of the tasting. Sylvaner, Kerner, Riesling, Müller Thurgau & Grüner Veltliner are the best-known representatives. But also the older vintages, the Pinot varieties and the elegant red wines offer a wide range of tastings.
Every opened bottle tells the story of the different terroirs of the Isarco Valley: around 400 hectares of vineyards grow between 350 meters up to the exceptional altitude of 970 meters above sea level. The slopes of the Isarco Valley are steep. With much passion and manual labor, the areas are cared for and 13 different grape varieties are grown. The Isarco Valley is synonymous with white wine: 89% of the cultivated area consists of white grapes, 11% of red grapes.
The hunting club Mir Jäger offers delicious game burgers and traditional tirteln. The evening will be accompanied by DJ Aux Habibi’s (aka Arno Parmeggiani) who will create the right atmosphere.
