Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader said that the audio clip of a BNP leader’s phone conversation showed that Chhatra Dal cadres were ordering the attack. This proves that BNP-Jamaat is once again walking on the path of violence by capitalizing on the emotions of ordinary students. They brought cadre forces from all over the country and started secret killings in this city.

Requesting the parents of the students, he said, ‘Keep your dear children away from such self-destructive activities. Because BNP-Jamaat cadres have taken the leadership of this movement. These cadres are mixing with the agitators and are continuing to kill, secret killings for political gain.’

He said these things in the chief guest’s speech at the exchange meeting with leaders of Dhaka District and Dhaka Metropolitan (North and South) Awami League on Wednesday (July 17) afternoon. The exchange meeting was held at Tejgaon Dhaka District Awami League office.

Obaidul Quader said, many more bad situations, terrible situations are being called and provoked. As part of this plan, 5-6 bottles of petrol, huge sticks, 60 local and foreign weapons, hundreds of cocktails were collected at BNP’s Paltan office last night. which was recovered by the police.

He said, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Sahib said proudly that the students have done what we could not do. This means that they did not come to the demand of quota. They want to overthrow the elected government. How desperate they are to seize power, they use child and adolescent processions. Chhatra Dal and Shibir workers are raising provocative slogans. They have turned this movement into an anti-government movement.

The top leader of Awami League said that no compromise can be made with any evil power. We will not give any concession to those who oppose the spirit of liberation war. We will not give any concession to the anti-independence. If BNP-Jamaat thinks that they will get concessions by doing these things, then I want to tell them that Awami League will not give any concessions.

He said that the quota reform movement is not in the hands of ordinary students. It is now under the leadership of Chhatra Dal-Chatrashibir. Our existence has been attacked, threatened. We have to face this situation. You get ready ward by ward.

General secretary of Awami League raised the question, why will ordinary students go to occupy the streets with domestic weapons, why will they engage in violence? The leadership of this movement has undoubtedly fallen into the hands of evil forces. We cannot remain silent in that situation.

The top leader of Awami League said that we who are Bangabandhu’s soldiers, who hold, cherish and believe in the spirit of the liberation war, cannot remain silent. Our existence has been attacked, threatened. We have to deal with this situation. You get ready ward by ward. Wherever they go, even today they have an agenda to create a terrible riot, a destructive agenda.

Obaidul Quader said, here is not only the power of the police, but the power of our party, the power of the party, the power that fought the liberation war of Bangladesh, the power that freed democracy under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina, must be used today. We have to fulfill our respective responsibilities with devotion.

The Awami League general secretary said, “On behalf of our leader, I am instructing every leader and worker in the country to be vigilant and take a strong stand against this evil evil force.”

Obaidul Quader mentioned that Awami League is always tolerant towards the demands of the students and said that the Prime Minister is the guardian of our state. All reasonable demands are under his consideration. We will tell the agitators, stand by the law. Wait for Supreme Court to hear the fixed date. Be patient. Do not enter into any incitement or conspiracy of evil forces. Don’t fall into the trap and wait. Expect responsible behavior from the younger generation.
