A young man died and two others were injured following a vehicle accident that occurred overnight in the Viseu area.
An 18-year-old man was killed this morning after a vehicle crashed into a rock. The accident of the light vehicle was recorded around 2:30am, on Rua da Regadinha, in Orgens. The Emergency Medical Vehicle and Resuscitation team pronounced him dead at the scene.
There were five people in the vehicle. In addition to the fatal victim, the accident caused one serious injury, a 21-year-old young man, and three minor injuries.
20 workers and nine vehicles went to the scene, from the firefighters Viseu Sapadores and Volunteers, the National Institute of Medical Emergencies and the GNR.
This Tuesday morning (16), Estrada Nacional 229, near Travassós, Viseu, is closed in both directions due to an accident that injured five people, including three children.
