MAP and ITALPRESS strengthen their media cooperation

Initialed by the Director General of MAP, Mr. Fouad Arif, and the Director General and Chairman of the Board of Directors of ITALPRESS, Gaspare Borsellino, this MoU aims to promote the exchange of information and multimedia content and the organization of training and internships for journalists from both agencies.

Under this agreement, both parties undertake to provide technical means for media production, to collaborate on several projects and to develop their capacities, particularly in the areas of new media and new technologies.

Under this MoU, the two agencies agree to promote multifaceted cooperation.

Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Arif stressed that this agreement, which promotes the strategic partnership between MAP and ITALPRESS, opens the way to new promising perspectives for both agencies, by offering quality content with speed, efficiency and integrity.

“This is an important step in our cooperation to promote journalistic excellence,” he said, noting that the two agencies share a common vision and are driven by a firm and constant commitment to the highest standards of professionalism.

In this sense, he said he was convinced that this fruitful collaboration will further strengthen not only the editorial and technological capabilities of the two agencies, but will also allow exploring new avenues for innovative and quality journalistic coverage.

Mr. Arif said that one of the highlights of this partnership will be the exchange of knowledge and capacity building, through the organization of training programs, workshops and seminars, believing that this exchange will promote a culture of continuous learning.

For his part, Mr. Borsellino welcomed this partnership concluded with MAP, “one of the most important press agencies in the Mediterranean”, noting that this agreement marks a turning point in the international opening of ITALPRESS, particularly in its Mediterranean environment.

This partnership will be mutually beneficial to the development and influence of both agencies, thanks to the possibility of creating quality editorial content and launching important projects and conventions on various subjects, he indicated.

On this occasion, Mr. Borsellino did not fail to highlight the centuries-old relations between Italy and Morocco, specifying that the two countries share several similarities and common points, particularly in terms of history, culture and traditions.
