Broad retired from cricket after the Ashes series against Australia last year.

Program before the start of the test

Stuart Broad is one of the greatest players from Nottingham to have represented England. He will be present at the official plaque unveiling ceremony before the match starts on Thursday. The former fast bowler will be accompanied by his father and former England cricketer Chris Broad and some of his former teammates. The Trent Bridge management has also requested fans to be present for the ceremony by 10:40 am local time.

Chris Broad expressed his happiness over renaming the Pavilion End in honor of his son. He said- I am glad that the Nottinghamshire committee decided that Stuart should be remembered in this way. It is a great pleasure to have an end named after him. This year when I went to Trent Bridge for the first time, I heard the announcement that the bowler is bowling from Stuart Broad End. I took a picture of the scoreboard and sent it to Stuart, and he got a little emotional seeing his name there. I feel very proud and honored to see him receive this honor.
