A new type of park is emerging in northern China. Accessible in all seasons and covered, Harbin Ice and Show World received distinction in the Guinness World Records for its status as the largest ice and snow park in the world.
Open from July 6 in Harbin, the capital of Heilongjiang province is famous for its nickname “snow city” because of the snow and snow festival, held every year since 1999, as reported. Le Figaro.
With its surface area of approximately 2.5 hectares for the indoor park, nine playgrounds have been set up there. Hundreds of sculptures and attractions can be seen, made from the waters of the Songhua River. While the city shows a temperature of 4.6°C all year round, the park opens during the heat wave with 29°C. Visitors do not hesitate to rush into this place, ensuring some encounters. A park that can be considered energy-efficient, having a specific temperature that remains between -8 and -12°C in order to guarantee the survival of the attractions. For the outdoor garden, it covers an area of more than 80 hectares, this time only open in winter. Maybe the money is starting to get too high, especially for the size of the project?
Many European policies seem irrelevant if they do not allow other countries to increase their energy bills.
