Man killed with machete after asking for a borrowed razor in Cartagena

Last Monday, July 15, Deyber Acosta Chiquillo, a well-known car guard in the Bocagrande sector, was brutally murdered in the Mirador de la Virgen neighborhood after claiming a razor that he had lent.

The crime, which occurred around 12:30 noon, in Cartagena, Colombia, and has generated a wave of indignation and sadness among residents.

According to reports, Deyber He met the man to whom he had lent his razor a few days earlier, but what began as a simple request ended in a violent argument.

Witnesses tried to intervene, but the brutality of the attack prevented the tragic outcome. Deyber was known and appreciated for his kind nature and dedication to work, and after being killed with a machete, he left behind two young children, aged 10 and 6.

Neighbours and friends are in shock, unable to understand how a dispute over a razor could lead to such a tragedy. Local authorities have launched an exhaustive search to find the attacker, who is currently on the run.

Security cameras in the area are being reviewed and witness testimonies are being collected to reconstruct the events and locate the culprit.
