Abdul Rahman Al-Hadi Khamada, Director of the European Affairs Department, in his capacity as a member of the committee supervising the organization of the Trans-Mediterranean Migration Forum, received the Minister of State for Senegalese Affairs Abroad, Amadou Cherif, and his accompanying delegation on the sidelines of his participation in the forum, which was held yesterday, Wednesday, in the capital, Tripoli.
During this meeting, many topics of common interest between the two countries were discussed. For his part, the Minister conveyed the greetings of the President of the Republic of Senegal and his country’s government to the Head of the Government of National Unity.
He thanked the competent Libyan authorities for organizing this important forum, which he considered a valuable opportunity to discuss the challenges facing the two countries, hoping that this positive momentum would continue to enhance cooperation and integration between the two countries and friendly peoples.
In return, the Director praised the depth of the distinguished historical relations that bind the two friendly peoples, stressing the keenness of the Government of National Unity to strengthen the relations of friendship and cooperation between the State of Libya and the Republic of Senegal in various fields through the exchange of visits of delegations and joint work to achieve the interests of the two friendly countries.
