The “Tiger”, who started on the bench, entered the field in the second half, marking his first official appearance with the capital club.
Millonarios’ performance in the match was inconsistent. Despite fighting back after a goal by Bryan León for DIM, the Bogota team showed few offensive resources to equalize the score. It was thanks to an isolated play and a goal by Argentine striker Giordana that Millonarios managed to avoid defeat in its league debut.
Falcao, in statements to Win+ Fútbol, said: “TI tried to enjoy myself, to play to the maximum, to touch the ball and to push myself. I think it has been positive on a personal level. and as the games go by, I will get used to the team.”

In another statement to the media, the ‘Tiger’ said: “In the end we took a point in a match that almost slipped away from us. We are aware that we have to improve, we have many new players and we need to get some experience to be in optimal condition.”
This match also marked Falcao’s first game in the Colombian Football League. The official broadcast of the match highlighted every move of the “Tiger” with a camera dedicated exclusively to him. However, the striker from Santa Marta only came on in the second half, replacing Daniel Giraldo.
Following the draw, social media was filled with memes and comments about Falcao’s debut, once again demonstrating his media impact and the expectation generated by each of his movements on the pitch.
