jpnn.comJAKARTA – The son of the third President of the Republic of Indonesia, BJ Habibie, Ilham Akbar Habibie, visited the office of the Central Leadership Council (DPTP) of the PKS, Jalan TB Simatupang, South Jakarta, Thursday (18/7).
Ilham came accompanied by NasDem Secretary General Hermawi Taslim, NasDem DPP Chair for Development and Infrastructure Okky Asokawati, NasDem DPP Chair for New and Millennial Voters Lathifa Al Anshori, and NasDem West Java DPW Secretary General M Rachmat.
PKS President Ahmad Syaikhu, accompanied by the Acting Chairman of the West Java PKS DPW, Iwan Suryawan, was the figure who welcomed Ilham’s presence at the location.
They then held a meeting in a room at the PKS office for an hour, then gave information to the media crew.
In a press conference, Syaikhu said that his meeting with Ilham and his entourage discussed the future of the nation towards a Golden Indonesia.
The former Deputy Mayor of Bekasi admitted that he agreed with Ilham about the need to strengthen human resources to welcome Golden Indonesia.
“There is an agreement between us that it is necessary to develop human resources, of course this is very interesting,” he said in a press conference, Thursday.
Syaikhu realized that NasDem has recently been looking for the right leader to contest the 2024 West Java (Jabar) Pilkada.
