Samsung has postponed the market launch of the new in-ear headphones Galaxy Buds 3 Pro (test). Worldwide and thus also in the German online shop, pre-ordered products will no longer be delivered in July, but later in August. The reason is quality defects. Deliveries to external dealers were also stopped.
This is what Samsung has to offer Android Authority confirmed.
There are reports of a limited number of early production Galaxy Buds 3 Pro devices. We take this matter very seriously and remain committed to achieving the highest quality standards for our products. We are urgently evaluating and improving our quality control processes.
To ensure that all products meet our quality standards, we have temporarily suspended the delivery of Galaxy Buds 3 Pro devices to distribution channels to conduct a full quality control evaluation before shipments to consumers. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. If any customer who already owns Galaxy Buds3 Pro faces any problem, they should contact Samsung or visit their nearest Samsung Service Center.
Samsung told Android Authority
Before this happened there were reports from early users of the new Galaxy Buds 3 Pro who complained about quality deficiencies. This meant that the silicone fasteners used on the Pro models should wear out quickly when replaced. The new Galaxy Buds 3, which do without these attachments, will continue to appear in Germany as planned next week.
Samsung’s German online store names August 18, 2024 as the new date for the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro
