“Uchimura Produce” will be revived for one night this fall after 16 years

It was announced on the 19th that TV Asahi’s variety show “Produce Uchimura” will be revived for one night this fall after 16 years. It will be broadcast under the title “Congratulations! Great comedians come together to celebrate Teruyoshi Uchimura’s 60th birthday.
“Uchimura Produce” aired from April 2000 to September 2005. It was a program where producer Uchimura produced everything in the world using his unique methods and concepts. In addition to Uchimura, many other comedians appeared, including SUMMERS regulars and Ryo Fukawa, as well as Hiroyuki Ariyoshi, Bananaman, Cream Stew, and Tetsuro Degawa. This is the first comeback in 16 years since the one-off special in March 2008.
For this work, new visuals of Uchimura wearing sunglasses and Pico Pico’s hammer, as well as then-regular members Summers and Fukawa Ryo, have also been completed. Currently, only these four members are announced to be present, but many gorgeous comedians are expected to appear one after the other.
