The third season of Mirzapur, which released on Amazon Prime Video in the first week of July, has received a mixed response from the fans. Amidst the high expectations of the fans, the makers released the new season and actress Neha Sargam, who plays Saloni Tyagi, stole everyone’s heart with the show this time. Neha has played the role of Saloni Tyagi, wife of Bharat Tyagi (Vijay Verma) in season 3 of Mirzapur. She is everywhere with her work in the crime drama series. Recently, Neha has spoken with Navbharat Times. Let us tell you the interesting gossip. How does it feel to get the fame that Saloni Bhabhi has received and you are also being called the national crush, what would you say about this?
It feels good to hear the title of National Crush, who doesn’t like it? I had never imagined this crazy fan following that I am seeing now. I am very happy that I have got my name registered in this list. I have worked a lot, I have been working for many years. But what has happened now has never happened before.
You had a bigger role in this season. Tell us something about your shooting experience.
I was also in season 2. When the Tyagi family was shown, I had a small introduction but people did not notice me at that time. They saw me only in season 3.
Was there something going on in your mind regarding the show, how will it reach the people?
First of all, I had shot for this season 2 years ago and since then I was living in depression thinking what will happen to me this time. I was thinking what will people say. How will people take Saloni Bhabhi.
You did something new apart from the serial, you got such a character for the first time, how did you manage the role?
I used to come for this shoot after shooting for ‘Yashomati Maiya’. I used to leave Gujarat for Mumbai at 2 am and reach there at 5 am. This is how I managed the shooting. On one hand, I was Yashomati Maiya and on the other hand, Saloni Bhabhi, but I never felt that I was doing something like that. I took the work as work and did everything. I didn’t think so much.
Was it difficult or easy to shoot the steamy scenes with Vijay Verma?
When I performed the scene, I did not find it so difficult. But I was very scared before doing it. My makers explained it to me a lot on the set. At the time of shooting that scene, no one was present there except 2-4 important people. Everyone had gone to the bathroom but there were only 4 people in the room. I was very scared but the makers encouraged me a lot. My respect for those who do such scenes has increased a lot.
