The exhibition, inaugurated on Thursday at the initiative of the Moroccan embassy in Argentina, is presented in around twenty photographs which depict scenes from daily life in Chefchaouen with the bright blue characteristic of this picturesque town in the background.
The Moroccan ambassador to Argentina, Fares Yassir, highlighted the “mystical” side of this city that unfailingly captures the attention of its visitors, thanking Dario Puebla for opening “these little windows” on Chefchaouen to the Argentine public.
Through his photographs, Dario Puebla leads the visitor through the bowels of the city to get to know its ordinary people, its children, its women, its street vendors and even its street animals.
Argentinian photographer Dario Puebla recounted the circumstances surrounding the taking of these photos as he wandered the streets of Chefchaouen, highlighting the atmosphere conducive to his creative work, as well as the kindness of the city’s inhabitants.
He said that his photos are invitations to visit the city of Chefchaouen, to wander through its streets, to get to know its people and to taste the exquisite flavor of its gastronomy.
The inauguration of this exhibition took place in the presence of several ambassadors and diplomats accredited to Buenos Aires.
