The Dr. David J. Guzmán National Museum of Anthropology (MUNA) invited everyone to participate in the recreational activities this Saturday, July 13, starting at 1:00 pm called: “Learn about archaeology at MUNA for kids.”

“On this occasion, the museum will offer a workshop on Archaeology for Children, in which we will learn about the work that archaeologists do, archaeological drawing, and we will have the opportunity to learn about the importance of pre-Hispanic ceramics,” said archaeologist Claudia Alfaro.

This workshop will include workshops on Embossing with Recycled Materials and Lanterns with Pre-Columbian Designs. In addition, there will be a guided tour of the different rooms of the museum and the Rock Garden where you can learn about a large part of the Salvadoran cultural heritage that MUNA safeguards.

Throughout the day, the entrepreneurs’ market will be open in Plaza Muna with food, products, crafts and alternative accessories.
