Juan David Cabal is the new player for Juventus. At 23 years old, he has fulfilled a dream by signing with one of the biggest teams in Italy and one of the most traditional teams in the world.
His good moments at Hellas Verona, where he arrived from Atlético Nacional, opened the doors to a team that is looking to get back on track and become one of the most feared in Calcio.
“The goals at Juve are: first to find space to play and then to win everything with Juve, that is my biggest goal. I spoke with the coach this morning, he is very kind. He was a player in the past and was very good. I saw him and told him he is great for his way of working and I said, ‘I want to be a great player here at Juventus’,” said the defender, excited about his future in Turin.
Third Colombian in Turin
At 23 years of age, the player will follow in the footsteps of two compatriots, one much more successful than the other.
Before him, Juan Guillermo Cuadrado made his mark and became one of the idols of the team. During two spells at the club, he won five league titles, four cups, and two super cups before leaving a year ago after his contract expired.
The other Colombian at Juventus was Andrés Tello, who never got to play with the black and white jersey. He left Envigado and was loaned out several times until his contract expired.
