Another emergency for Lena Meyer-Landrut (33). Just at the beginning of July, the singer had to cancel a performance at the Tollwood festival in Munich. The next day, Lena explained the reason. She had to be taken to a clinic.
Lena Meyer-Landrut has to cancel her performance for the third time
The fans were already present in Munich when suddenly an announcement caused unrest: “It will take a little longer, someone has collapsed.” Minutes later, the sad news: The concert was canceled. A woman stepped onto the stage and announced without further explanation that the performance could not take place. On Instagram, Lena then shared: “I wasn’t feeling well during the day, and then in the evening I got cramp-like abdominal and kidney pains, had to vomit just before the show started, and was then taken to a clinic.” The concert on Sunday night in Wangen was also canceled. “Unfortunately, Lena’s condition worsened again during the afternoon and she had to go to the hospital again with severe pain,” wrote Meyer-Landrut’s team on Instagram.
Now, another emergency situation has occurred. Lena was supposed to perform as the headliner at the Ansbach Open on Sunday evening at 7 PM. But shortly before, the cancellation came: “Unfortunately, Lena experienced an unexpected medical emergency today and had to reluctantly cancel the performance. She is currently receiving medical treatment. Please keep an eye on the organizer’s updates regarding tickets and refunds. It breaks Lena’s heart that she can’t perform,” it says now on Lena’s Instagram account.
In the meantime, it has been announced that Lena will continue to be unavailable. “Unfortunately, Lena is not feeling better after the sudden medical emergency yesterday and is still receiving medical treatment. Therefore, we also have to cancel the show today in Regensburg.”
It remains to be seen whether the performances on Friday in Stuttgart and Saturday in Echternach will also be canceled.

Fans are worried about Lena Meyer-Landrut
It’s clear that the fans are concerned:
“I really hope she takes some time off; you can tell that working on the new album and a full tour is just too much. I think it’s hard in these moments to admit that you can’t go on, especially in the music business where unfortunately you have to keep going, and the labels put pressure on you, but the career should never come before physical and especially mental health. Please take this break, career or not.”
“All the best, dear Lena. Health is the most important thing in life. Take the time you need. And only work again when you are fully recovered. No matter how long it takes.”
“I’m worried too. I hope Lena feels better soon.”
What exact health problems Lena is experiencing are not known. ■
