“The Chinese Rennet”, would be one of the alleged material authors of the outrage against him journalist Federico Hansaccording to the Sonora Prosecutor’s Office; has already been arrested.
The Attorney General’s Office of the State of Sonora (FGJES) reported on the arrest of Jesus Eduardo “N”alias “El Chino Cuajo”, for allegedly being related to the attack against the journalist Federico Hans Hagalsieb Vanegasin addition to other crimes.
The authority reports that the capture (carried out by federal, state and prosecutor’s agents) took place last July 17th (same day of the attack against the journalist) at 18:20 hours on the Ejido Josefa Ortiz de Domínguez.

At that point, the officers detected a Chevrolet Suburban vehicle Inside there were two crew members and they were asked to stop.
The authorities managed to arrest “El Chino Cuajo”, but the second crew member escaped to a desert area.
Jesús Eduardo “N” was found in possession of:
“Four firearms: one short and three long. In addition to the four weapons seized, five magazines each supplied with 15 useful 5.56 caliber cartridges, 205 useful 5.56 caliber cartridges, two magazines with 10 useful 7.62×39 caliber cartridges each, eleven cardboard boxes containing 20 useful 7.62×39 caliber cartridges and a sack containing marijuana were seized.”
The above was left under the protection of the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic(FGR) and “El Chino Cuajo” were questioned about the events that occurred against reporter Hans, but he refused to testify.
“The General Directorate of Forensic Services of the FGJES determined that the firearm, caliber .223, REM/5.56x45mm, that the detainee was carrying at the time of his capture, was the same one used to carry out the attack against the victim,” the Prosecutor’s Office said in its statement.

Authorities are investigating and working to capture two more subjects related to the attack against Federico Hans, who was left with several gunshot wounds in the vicinity of his house located in Caborca.
