Securities are issued after evaluating the value before the launch of new products… Trading on a dedicated platform
On the 24th, Kwangdong Pharmaceutical announced that it had signed a joint venture agreement for electronic securities issuance with financial IT and fintech company Finger Co., Ltd. Through the agreement, the two companies plan to securitize the value of new products and make them tradeable on a dedicated platform.
Specifically, they agreed to pursue tasks such as ▲cooperation in issuing and distributing token securities, ▲establishing a joint business cooperation system in the digital asset sector, and ▲cooperation on various infrastructure and technology elements for promoting digital asset liquidity projects.
The contract is an extension of the ‘Comprehensive Business Agreement (MOU) for Joint Business in the Field of Issuance of Investment Contract Securities and Token Securities’ signed in March, and a working-level consultative body was formed to plan and develop food and beverage products that will be selected as the first investment contract securities to be issued.
The joint venture will be conducted by comprehensively evaluating the expected sales of new products to be launched by Kwangdong Pharmaceutical, and Finger Co., Ltd. will issue them as electronic securities. Consumers can directly purchase these electronic securities through a private transaction platform. Securities purchasers can share in the profits from the sale of new products in the form of dividends, and if the relevant bill is passed, they can resell the securities they own to gain price differences.
A Kwangdong Pharmaceutical official said, “We plan to introduce a business structure that allows customers to participate more directly in the launch and sales of new products. We plan to expand our business by developing various products in the future.”
This joint venture agreement is expected to produce positive synergies for both Kwangdong Pharmaceutical and Finger by presenting a new business model that allows consumers to directly evaluate and invest in the value of products.
