During this Council, the President of the Council praised the remarkable achievements of Agenve in terms of production of land titles, establishment of cadastral plans and in terms of revenues generated during the year 2023 as well as the significant results recorded, in particular in the field of overall land registration which illustrate the positive socio-economic impact of the Agency on rural development and particularly for the benefit of small farmers, indicates a press release from the ANCFCC.
For his part, the Director General of ANCFCC, Karim Tajmouati, presented the items on the agenda, highlighting the main indicators for the 2023 financial year, namely the establishment of 462,509 land titles, including 193,315 from overall land registration in rural areas, an increase of 2.4% compared to 2022, coverage by land registration of an area of 1,109,234 hectares, the achievement of a turnover of 8.47 billion dirhams (MMDH), the payment of 5 MMDH to the State and the achievement of a net accounting profit excluding depreciation of 1.672 MMDH.
Mr. Tajmouati also presented the ANCFCC accounts for the 2023 financial year as well as the progress of the main structuring projects, in particular the continuation of the digitalization process, the strengthening of cybersecurity, the implementation of the master plan for information systems as well as the modernization of the production chain of basic topographic maps and geodetic networks through the introduction of new cutting-edge technologies.
Following the discussions, the Council approved the Agency’s accounts for the 2023 financial year and approved all the resolutions proposed by the Agency, the press release said.
Furthermore, Mr. Sadiki and the members of the Board of Directors praised the remarkable performance of the Agency and congratulated all the managers and all the staff at the central and external levels, for the commitments which made it possible to achieve the positive results recorded.
This meeting was attended by the Minister Delegate to the Head of Government, responsible for the National Defense Administration, Abdeltif Loudyi, as well as representatives of other ministerial departments, members of the Board of Directors.
