Navadaḥ Nawada has got the gift of connecting to the Buxar-Bhagalpur Expressway in the Union Budget, which will increase the connectivity of the district. This expressway will connect 12 districts, which will give new impetus to the development of Nawada. On Tuesday, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the budget in the Lok Sabha, in which many announcements have been made for Bihar. According to media reports, this expressway will connect Buxar, Bhojpur, Rohtas, Arwal, Aurangabad, Gaya, Jehanabad, Nawada, Jamui, Sheikhpura, Banka and Bhagalpur.
A new chapter of development will be written in Nawada
This will facilitate the people of Nawada to travel and do business. The people of Nawada are sure to get the direct benefit of increased connectivity. After which a new chapter will be written in the development of Nawada. However, the demand for Nawada-Patna via Biharsharif railway line could not be fulfilled in the budget, due to which there is disappointment among the people of the district.

People were hoping that this railway line would be announced in the budget. Also, no new train has been announced on the KG rail section. However, the construction of the expressway will open up new possibilities of development in Nawada and will facilitate the movement of people of the district.
The journey from Buxar to Bhagalpur takes 4 hours instead of 9
The 12 districts whose people will get great relief from the construction of Buxar-Bhagalpur Expressway include Buxar, Bhojpur, Rohtas, Arwal, Aurangabad, Gaya, Jahanabad, Nawada, Jamui, Sheikhpura, Banka and Bhagalpur. Currently, it takes about 9 hours to complete the journey from Buxar to Bhagalpur. For this, people have to travel 380 kilometers. With the construction of the expressway, this journey can be completed in just four hours.
26 thousand crores announced for two express ways in Bihar
While presenting the budget, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced a grant of Rs 26,000 crore for the construction of Patna-Purnia Expressway along with the Buxar-Bhagalpur Expressway.
