At the headquarters of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, the organization’s president, Aktoty Raimkulova, met with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Maksat Mamytkanov.

As reported by Day.Az on Thursday, after greeting the guest, Aktoty Raimkulova congratulated Mamytkanov on his appointment as the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Azerbaijan.

During the conversation, the president of the foundation spoke about the projects implemented by the organization in the direction of preserving, studying and promoting the unique heritage and ancient history of the Turkic world in the international arena. Aktoty Raimkulova noted the existence of intensive partnerships between the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation and the country that founded the organization – Kyrgyzstan.

She spoke about the restoration work started by the foundation and the museumification of the house-museum of the great Kyrgyz poet and playwright Alykul Osmonov, located in Bishkek.

Maksat Mamytkanov, highly appreciating the work done by the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation to study and preserve the tangible and intangible heritage of the Turkic peoples, emphasized the importance of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the foundation.

He also expressed confidence that Kyrgyzstan will provide comprehensive support to further projects carried out by the fund.

The meeting continued with a discussion of further strengthening the partnership between the fund and Kyrgyzstan and future joint projects.
