Opening of the judicial year in the judicial district of the Khouribga Court of Appeal
Khouribga – The Khouribga Court of Appeal held, on Thursday, the solemn hearing marking the beginning of the judicial year 2024, an opportunity to dwell on the positive results of judicial activities at the level of this judicial district.
The holding of this annual judicial tradition, which opened under the theme “The seriousness of judicial action, dependent on the credibility of ethical commitment”, takes place within the framework of the application of article 8 of the law relating to the judicial organization of the Kingdom.
Speaking on the occasion of this tradition marking the beginning of the judicial year, the first president of this court, Abdelaziz Chaqrouf described as “good” the results of the indicators of the past judicial year which reflects judicial efficiency, recalling that the total number of cases registered in the courts of the judicial district of Khouribga reached a total of 52,928 cases with a judicial backlog of 5,543 remaining cases, at a time when the total number of cases judged amounts to 53,433, i.e. a rate of cases judged of 101%.
For his part, the Attorney General of the King at the Khouribga Court of Appeal, Abdellatif Belhamidi, indicated that the opening of the judicial year is an opportunity to note the efforts made by judges, clerks and legal assistants in the judicial field, before reviewing the activity of the prosecution offices of the Khouribga Court of Appeal and the courts under its jurisdiction for the year 2023.
This ceremony took place in the presence, in particular, of the governor of Khouribga, judicial officials, heads of the province’s external services and magistrates from this court.
