Rabat: 1st coordination meeting between Mr. Jazouli and the DGs of the 12 CRIs
Casablanca – The Minister Delegate in charge of Investment, Convergence and Evaluation of Public Policies, Mohcine Jazouli, gathered, Thursday in Rabat, the General Directors of the 12 Regional Investment Centers (CRI) for a first information and coordination meeting.
This meeting follows the adoption of decree 2.23.310 implementing law 47.18 reforming regional investment centers and creating unified regional investment commissions, which places the CRIs under the supervision of the Head of Government, according to a press release.
This decision comes in the wake of the High Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI who, in his speech to Parliament on the occasion of the opening of the 1st session of the 2nd legislative year of the 11th legislature, called on the CRIs to “supervise the entire investment process and increase its efficiency”.
It also consolidates the efforts undertaken by the government to unify investment governance and is in line with the reform already initiated by Law 47.18, which has enabled the transformation of the CRIs, the standardization of the decision-making framework related to investment at the regional level, the simplification of procedures and the improvement of processing times for files.
This meeting thus marks the launch of the new level of the CRI reform.
During this meeting, emphasis was placed on achieving the objectives set by His Majesty King Mohammed VI and the need to work together with all parties concerned, both at the central and territorial levels.
