jpnn.comJAKARTA – BPJS Kesehatan is committed to prioritizing caution and accountability, especially in managing health service claims for the National Health Insurance (JKN) program in accordance with the mandate of the law.

This confirmation was conveyed by the Director of Health Service Guarantee BPJS Kesehatan Lily Kresnowati at the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Building, Wednesday (24/7).

He said that in order to protect claim management from potential fraud, in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Health Number 16 of 2019 concerning the Prevention and Handling of Fraud and the Imposition of Administrative Sanctions against Fraud in the Implementation of the Health Insurance Program, a National Health Insurance Fraud Prevention and Handling Team (PK-JKN) has also been formed at the national, provincial and district/city levels.

The antifraud ecosystem in the JKN Program continues to be built as a joint effort to create a JKN Program that is free from fraud.

The PK-JKN team consists of various elements starting from the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes), the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP), the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK), and BPJS Kesehatan.

The PK-JKN team was also formed at the provincial and district/city levels.

The task of the PK-JKN Team is to socialize regulations and culture that are oriented towards quality control and cost control, improve the culture of preventing fraud, and encourage the implementation of good organizational governance and/or clinical governance.

In addition, the PK-JKN Team is also tasked with carrying out fraud detection and resolution efforts; monitoring and evaluation; and reporting.

The PK-JKN Team, which consists of various elements from the Ministry of Health, BPKP, KPK, and BPJS Kesehatan, is tasked with detecting and resolving fraud in the JKN Program.
