jpnn.comSERANG – ASABRI contributes to the Foster Parents of Stunting Children program in Serang City, in the context of National Children’s Day 2024 with the theme Protected Children, Advanced Indonesia.
This inauguration was carried out directly by the Head of the Banten Province BKKBN Representative Office, Ir. Rusman Effendi to the Corporate Secretary of PT ASABRI Okki Jatnika and was attended by the Acting Mayor of Serang Yeddi Rahmat.
“I would like to thank the parties who participated in the Parent/Career Program for Stunting Children in Serang City. Through this program, it is hoped that the stunting rate can be reduced, especially in Serang City, so that a healthy, intelligent generation can be created towards the golden generation of Indonesia in 2045,” said Yeddi.
The Parent/Career Program for Stunting Children is also in line with the Stunting Program of the Ministry of SOEs, which is a mutual cooperation movement of all elements of the nation in accelerating the reduction of stunting by targeting families at risk of stunting through the BKKBN and the Women’s Empowerment, Child Protection and Family Planning Service (P3AKB) of Serang City.
This program will be implemented for six months starting from July to December 2024.
For six months, stunted foster children receive basic necessities in the form of food supplies to improve nutrition, the distribution of which is carried out in collaboration with the National Alms Agency (BAZNAS).
After the inauguration of the Foster Parents was completed, ASABRI also visited several children who were ASABRI Foster Children accompanied by the Team from the Women’s Empowerment, Child Protection and Family Planning Service (DP3AKB) of Serang City, the Head of Tembong Village and the local Health Center Cadres in the Cipocok Jaya District.
During this visit, Okki Jatnika said that ASABRI as one of the BUMNs also supports the Government and the Minister of BUMN in helping the community around the ASABRI office area, one of which is through the ASABRI Serang Branch.
After the inauguration of the Foster Parents was completed, ASABRI also visited several children who were ASABRI Foster Children.
