On the left, the name is that of Yildiz, a homegrown Turkish talent who this year will be responsible for bringing back Juventus fans’ enjoyment of flair and creativity as in not-so-distant times. On the right, however, the market will be explored after realizing that Federico Chiesa’s future is far from Turin.
The case of the Azzurri winger remains one of the unresolved knots in Juventus’ market dealings: with his contract expiring in a year, Chiesa needs to be monetized quickly to avoid the temptation of reaching the natural expiration of the agreement and possibly settling elsewhere for free, perhaps at the rival Inter of Beppe Marotta.

Giuntoli is working on the right winger to gift to Thiago Motta. The name at the top of the Juventus sporting director’s notebook is that of the Brazilian from Porto, Galeno. Born in 1997, he plays as a forward but tends to stay wide compared to the penalty area. Galeno has class and experience acquired from the last two seasons with Porto. His release clause is particularly high: 60 million euros.
An excessive price for Juventus, which must already account for a similar expenditure to acquire Koopmeiners, considered the central target for the entire transfer window. The Portuguese club, however, needs to monetize to comply with agreements made with UEFA and fit within Financial Fair Play constraints: This is why Giuntoli can negotiate from a position of strength to secure more favorable conditions.
If the attempt to acquire Galeno doesn’t succeed, the alternative could be Adeyemi from Borussia Dortmund. He also has a very high valuation, and in this case, there would be the difficulty of obtaining a discount from the Germans, who have no financial problems. For this reason, the focus is directed towards the right winger from Porto, aiming to conclude in time for him to integrate with the teammates before the start of the next season.
