Amazon Prime Video announced this Monday that he is already preparing a series called The House of Spirits, production that will be based on the writer’s novel Isabel Allende.
A successful eponymous book that is considered one of the most important novels of the 20th century, more than 70 million copies sold. This work was adapted to film in 1993, and three decades later it will arrive on streaming in series format with a total of eight episodes.
Prime’s next original production will have Allende the renowned actress already Eva Longoria as part of the executive production, while as showrunners they will officiate Francisca Alegria, Fernanda Urrejola and Andrés Wood.

For her part, the author of the original work and current producer of the series gave her first impressions and details about this new production.

As for the cast, Prime Video revealed that it will feature several international faces.
