Welcome to this live broadcast dedicated to the 2024 Summer Olympics, which officially opened yesterday in Paris and will run until Sunday 11 August.
During this global event, we will follow the sporting events, the political and diplomatic meetings organized around these Olympic Games. With our reporters on the ground, we’ll be in all the cities hosting events to let you know what the atmosphere is like.
- What about it? The 2024 Olympic Games, which will take place until August 11 with events in several French cities. The last edition of the Summer Games took place in 2021, in Tokyo.
- What time ? From Monday 22 July, The world opens live every morning to follow the news of these Olympic Games. And this until Sunday 11 August.
- What is the program of the day? The day after the opening ceremony, the day starts with the first badminton matches, followed by the rowing series, the 10m rifle shooting qualifications with the French team and the start of the judo competition. This Saturday will see the semi-final match for the French rugby sevens team against South Africa, at 3:30pm, at the Stade de France, with the two time trial cycling events taking place especially this Saturday. No less than fourteen gold medals will be awarded during the day.
