Videos on social media showed Lady Gaga greeting fans from her car. On Tuesday (23/07), Variety reported that Celine Dion arrived in Paris the day before, at the Royal Monceau hotel near the Champs-Élysées, where the pop star is also staying.
Yesterday, Thursday (25/07), a day before the highly anticipated start of the 2024 Olympic Games, French journalist Thierry Moreau shared in a post on Twitter/X that Dion and Gaga were rehearsing a duet of “La Vie en Rose” by Édith Piaf.
The news was also confirmed by TMZ.
The journalist also reported that Dion will be dressed by the house of Dior and will wear a pink and black feathered cape.
It is noted that Gaga has a… connection with “La Vie en Rose,” as she performed it in her 2018 movie, “A Star Is Born.”
