The Board of Directors of NRBC Bank Plc, a listed company in the banking sector of the capital market, has released the unaudited financial report for the second quarter (April-June, 2024) and half-yearly (January-June, 2024) of the current financial year. According to the published report, the profit of the company has increased in the current half-yearly quarter.
On Monday (July 29), the Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchange (DSE) informed this information.
According to the data, the company’s consolidated earnings per share (EPS) for the second quarter of the current financial year stood at Tk 0.29. The company had a loss per share of Rs (0.46) in the corresponding period of the previous financial year. As such, the company returned to profit from loss per share in the quarter under review.
Meanwhile, the company’s consolidated earnings per share (EPS) for the six months or half-yearly quarter of the current financial year stood at Tk 0.73. The company’s profit per share was Rs 0.51 in the corresponding period of the previous financial year. Accordingly, the company’s EPS is increasing by Tk 0.22 or 43.14 percent in the current quarter.
As on June 30, 2024, the company’s consolidated net asset value per share (NAVPS) stood at Rs.17.21.
