The 2023 Annual Report Committee met with the Chairman of the Audit Bureau, Dr. Omar Abdul Rabbah Saleh, at his office in Al Bayda City, and submitted the 2023 Annual Report, which included the observations recorded on the entities subject to the Bureau’s oversight, in accordance with the powers assigned by the legislator pursuant to the provisions of Law No. 19 of 2013 and its amendments.
The Chairman of the Court praised the distinguished efforts in preparing the report, and the Committee presented the work plan for the annual report for the year 2024, which is planned to be prepared.
It is worth noting that, in accordance with the text of Article (53) of the aforementioned Court Law, it submits an annual report to the legislative authority, explaining its activities and observations on the financial oversight it conducts, which is what it has been accustomed to and committed to by submitting its annual reports for the past fiscal years 2014 AD – 2015 AD – 2016 AD – 2017 AD – 2018 AD – 2019 AD – 2020 AD – 2021 AD – 2022 AD.
It included observations, violations, and suggested methods that should be followed and implemented to avoid them in the future. These reports also showed the aspects of the violations that he referred to the criminal and disciplinary investigation authorities.
