Now Ravindra Jadeja is celebrating the first wicket of his return to cricket in the ‘Pushpa’ style. Jadeja’s floral style celebration came after Sri Lankan batsman Dinesh Chandimal took the wicket.

Chandimal took the wicket in the 10th over of the Sri Lankan innings. In the second delivery, the star was trying to get off the track and play. But the Sri Lankan batsman could not connect the ball. Ishant Kishan shook the stumps without any errors. Soon after, Ravindra Jadeja was imitating Allu Arjun’s trendy action in Pushpa.

Jadeja returns to cricket after three months. Jadeja was ruled out of the series against New Zealand with a hamstring injury. Jadeja took one wicket against Sri Lanka. He conceded just 28 runs in four overs. Jadeja hit four off four balls and scored three runs. Jadeja, who reached the crease in the fourth over, only supported Shreyas Iyer (57 off 28 balls) who was playing in good form.

The matches of the IPL 2022 season will start on March 26. The BCCI made the announcement after a meeting of the IPL governing council on Thursday. The revised date was announced at the request of broadcasters Star Sports.

Star Sports wanted to adjust the fixtures to the way the league starts on Saturday. This was approved by the IPL Governing Committee. Earlier, the league was scheduled to start on March 29. According to the updated fixture, the final will be played on May 29.

There will be 74 matches this season, including 70 league matches involving 10 teams. The IPL starts 11 days after the India-Sri Lanka Test series. Of these, 70 matches will be played in Mumbai and Pune.

Mumbai will play 55 matches and Pune 15 matches. Of these, 20 matches will be played at Wankhede and Brabourne, while 15 matches will be played at DY Patil Stadium and MCA Stadium. The final of the play-offs will be played on May 29 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Brijesh Patel said that spectators will be admitted for the matches. In the first weeks of the league, the decision was made to allow spectators to enter 50 per cent of the stadiums and then 75 per cent of the seats. He, however, said that the final decision would be taken as per the directions of the respective state governments.
