CD Tenerife will travel early this Monday to the Alicante municipality of Alfaz de Pi to continue their preseason in El Albir, where they will conduct ten training sessions and play two friendly matches.
After completing their first weeks of work on the island and playing three preparation matches against CD Marino (0-6), Al-Shabab from Saudi Arabia (2-0), and CD Atlético Paso, in La Palma, the group led by Óscar Cano will now face seven days of training on the mainland, until next Sunday, August 4.
Among the players who will be part of the islander expedition will be Tenerife native Maikel Mesa, a recent signing for the white-and-blue team for the next three seasons.
The first of the friendlies scheduled in Alicante will pit Tenerife against Deportivo Alavés, a LaLiga EA Sports (First Division) team, next Tuesday at Albir Garden Sports.
In the second test, at the same venue, the white-and-blue team will face CD Eldense, precisely their first opponent in LaLiga Hypermotion 2024-2025, in the match that will close the inaugural day of the championship on Monday, August 19, at the Nuevo Pepico Amat Stadium in Elda.
