The company also plans to launch another EV in the two-wheeler segment.
Details about the Okhi 90 and Okhi 100 were revealed by Jitender Sharma, co-founder and managing director of Okinawa Autotech, in an interview with Zee Media.

The Okhi 90 electric scooter is scheduled to launch next month, while the Okhi 100 electric bike will be launched in the second quarter of next fiscal year (June-July 2022).
Oki 90 limit
Sharma also shared some details about the range and speed of the upcoming EVs. The speed of the Oki 90 electric scooter is about 80 to 90 km / h and is capable of running from 170 km to 200 km once charged.
Okinawa Autotech claims that this scooter will change the market environment of the EV segment in India and will be an electric scooter with many features for the future.
Oki 90 Charging
The Okhi 90 electric scooter comes with a fast charging feature. Currently, all Okinawa Autotech vehicles are equipped with fast charging engines. Offer. Okhi is 90 to 70 percent charged in 90 to an hour.
The upcoming product will feature the most advanced software technology. “Containing artificial intelligence features and integrated vehicle features. Consumers are looking for a product that is comparable to ICE engines in terms of range, which is the product for them, ”said Sharma.
“Currently our product offers a range of about 139 km to 140 km. The new Okhi 90 product will offer a greater range than that.

Battery swapping
As for battery swapping, Sharma says the battery swapping policy will help the overall EV industry grow, which also applies to Okinawa. All current Okinawa products have detachable batteries. You can take the battery out and charge it anywhere just like charging a mobile.
For charging, it depends on whether the company builds a swapping station or does a third party. If a third-party swapping station is created, the battery form factor should be the same. OEMs take some time to develop a common battery life factor. “
