The proven European specialist, Dr. Claudine Annen, will advise on the upcoming construction of a horse rehabilitation center with a practical focus on students and doctoral students, which is part of the large-scale project for the renovation of the horse base at Thrace University – Stara Zagora, the university announced.
Dr. Claudine Annen is a veterinarian specializing in sports medicine, osteopathy and rehabilitation. Born in Luxembourg, lives in Germany, studied in Vienna and is a certified equine rehabilitation specialist at the University of Tennessee, USA. At the moment, she is a veterinarian-consultant on rehabilitation in various clinics in Germany and Switzerland, and she accepted the invitation from the rector of Thrace University Prof. Dobri Yarkov to get involved with expertise: “I believe that there is a lot of potential here, the people are extremely kind and open, eager to learn and achieve more – to develop in the field of equine veterinary medicine. I would be happy to help develop this industry and I will advise on the proper construction of the rehabilitation center and in the training of the staff who will work there.”
The chief manager of the university, Dr. Zdravko Todorov, showed Claudine Annen the material base, the University Veterinary Medical Hospital, as well as the horse base.
Dr. Annen also shared that she is flattered to be invited to participate in the development of the rehabilitation center and is happy to pass on her knowledge and skills to people who want to upgrade.
