The African continent has already organized major sports competitions: rugby or World Cup football… but not an Olympic version. Why are the Games written in Africa? Stadiums, roads, airports, hotels, are there enough infrastructure? Do politicians love at home? Which African city can be ready? In a word: what is Africa missing to host the Olympics?
With our guests:
- Diamil Fayeconsultant and expert to the International Olympic Committee, former head of the Olympic delegation
- Will MbiakopAfrican sports specialist (ASCI African Spors & Creative Institute)
- Christophe Joussethead of the RFI sports department
- Françoise Mbango, RFI consultant for these Paris 2024 French athletes, especially in the triple jump. Olympic champion in 2004 and 2008, she is the only Cameroonian athlete in history, men and women combined, to have won a world or Olympic title.
