In Hungary, it is already possible to book an appointment at 80 health institutions on the EgészséAblak mobile application or via the 1812 health line, and more and more outpatient appointments are joining this new, modern option, he said. Bence Rétvár, the parliamentary state secretary of the Ministry of the Interior in Siófok on Monday, MTI reports.
Bence Rétvári said at the press conference held at the Siófok Hospital-Dispensary that the mobile application appointment booking introduced from July 1st was mainly provided for state-run dispensaries, but the range of municipal-run dispensaries is also expanding as they gradually harmonize their software to the new system.
By introducing the possibility of booking an appointment, they tried to adapt to the needs of patients as flexibly as possible and to make better use of the capacities of the healthcare sector, he said.
He added that they saw that the most difficult thing for people in recent years was how to get to the doctor, how to get to the specialist appointment, but now, with the help of a mobile phone application, they can easily, quickly and simply see the available appointments and book them. themselves, their children, or their elderly parents.
Bence Rétvári emphasized that monitors help patients find their way around the institutions, and the serial numbers are issued by a machine after entering the Social Security number.
With regard to services that do not require a referral, you can check what specialist appointment is available, for example, on the shores of Lake Balaton, at the clinic in Siófok, even while on vacation, and you can come here if you have booked it on your mobile phone in the previous days, he said.
The state secretary explained that about 500 appointments are booked per day with the new, state-of-the-art option, but the capacities would allow several times that number, so he encourages everyone to look, browse, and use the mobile application.
In the first month, the most appointments were made for dermatology, ophthalmology and otolaryngology, the most available appointments are for gynecology, surgery and pulmonology, he added.
Eszter Vitalios government spokesperson pointed out that the Health Window is a very useful mobile application that can be downloaded free of charge, and to use it, you only need a TAJ number and customer gatekeeper identification.
It has already been downloaded by more than 3 million people, 2.5 million people use it every month, since the introduction of the e-recipe function, it has more than one million unique users, more than 9 million finds have been downloaded with its help, he listed.
The government spokesperson pointed out that through the EgészsésAblak, the patient can access all documents related to the health services that concern him, the application displays the prescriptions to be replaced and those that have been replaced, the patient information sheets of the medicines, the name and contact information of the family doctor, the appointment time, and provides information about mandatory public health screening tests and recommended screening tests.
The application has a pharmacy search function, it can be used to check the validity of the TAJ number, the payment of the social security contribution, it contains a clear and accurate description of 1,900 symptoms and diseases, and it enables direct calls to the health line 24 hours a day, Eszter Vitályos pointed out.
