The controversial reelection of Nicolás Maduro has left a deep uncertainty among Venezuelans and world leaders regarding the transparency of a democratic act that unites a people and nations.
Elvis Amoroso, president of the National Electoral Council (CNE) of Venezuela, announced Maduro as the winner, who obtained 51.20% against 44.02% of the opposition candidate Edmundo González.

This generated statements from politicians and public figures such as the president of Argentina, Javier Milei, who said on his social media that at last “the Venezuelan lions have awakened.”
“The fraud carried out and perpetrated by the dictator Nicolás Maduro is nothing more than a pyrrhic victory. He may have won a battle, but the most important thing is that the Venezuelan lions have awakened,” the Argentine president assured.
“And sooner or later socialism will end, that impoverishing model will come to an end, because socialism is always a murderous and impoverishing model anywhere. Cheer up, dear Venezuelans, you are going to move forward, keep fighting, don’t give up. Long live freedom, damn it!,” Milei concluded with enthusiasm.
The tech mogul Elon Musk was also active on his X account (formerly Twitter) while spending time during the electoral day. He spoke out after the “electoral fraud” and said that it was all a “farce.”
